2008 NCCPA Conference Mark your calendars for November 12-14th, 2008 for your trip to beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. Asheville North Carolina sits nestled in the Appalachian Mountains, and is just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Home to the historic Biltmore house, the city of Asheville is a thriving city full of outstanding restaurants, shopping, art and culture. On the January 11th edition of the ABC show 20/20 Asheville was recognized as “America’s Happiest City.” This progressive town provides strong leadership in areas of social conscience and responsibility. Mid November is a particularly wonderful time to visit, as much of the fall foliage will still be intact and will provide a beautiful backdrop to reconnect with colleagues from throughout the state.
