NCCPA LEADERSHIP BANK
Did you know that by being a member of NCCPA you have access
to different leadership tools and games? The games are
located at East Carolina University and can be sent or
delivered to any NCCPA member to be used at various sites.
The games are:
Situational Leadership Simulator:
The purpose of this simulation game is to
allow participants to make decisions about the appropriate
style of leadership in varying situations.
Alternatives: A game of understanding:
The purpose of this game is to increase the
level of awareness and depth of understanding the issues
gays, lesbians and bisexuals confront daily.
Escapades:
Over 300 indoor and outdoor games for your playful spirit.
Need icebreakers or teambuilders? This box has it.
Collidascope: The purpose of this activity is to provide an opportunity to
bridge our differences through sharing of information and
experiences. Collidascope won't rid the world of prejudice
and discrimination, but it does offer us a way to talk about
it. Note: Some revisions and updating of information would
need to be done before using this activity.
50 Activities For Developing Leaders:
This resource is a binder filled with
training topics on leadership, values, taking risks,
communicating, working as a team and celebrations. Each
activity lists the items and resources needed as well as the
notes for the trainer.
Diversity Bingo:
This is an interactive group learning
experience designed to raise awareness of the perceptions
and assumptions that exist in regard to different dimensions
of diversity.
Where Do You Draw the Line: An Ethics
Game:
The purpose of this activity is to allow the
participants to make ethical judgements about the behavior
of people described in a variety of situations.
Battle of the Sexes:
This game is about defending your gender. Participants
knowledge of the opposite sex is tested by answering
questions from a series of gender-based question cards.
This is a great activity for discussing gender
communication.
